The Wide World of Discord (online community forums)
As web-based platforms evolve for community organization, many robotic sports groups have moved from Facebook Groups to the free, online platform of Discord.
What is Discord? Discord is essentially an app that you install and use to access thousands of different servers; each dedicated to it’s own group or topic of discussion.
In robot combat and sports, people use these forums to share ideas, ask questions, and celebrate each other’s creations! Each server has rules or conduct and moderators to ensure they remain a safe space for adults and kids alike.
Note: You will need to install the Discord application to your device and create a user profile in order to join any Discord server.
